Kevin Costner reveals the hardest part of celebrating the holidays alone

Kevin Costner is entering a new stage in his life. After the end of his 18 marriage with Christine Baumgartner, Costner is embracing life as a bachelor, with its many perks and drawbacks. In a recent interview and the new song he released with his band “Kevin Costner & Modern West,” the artist is sharing the challenges of spending the holidays alone.

Costner opened up about his holiday plans with US Weekly. “I think when they were younger, there were things that were more repetitive,” he said. “Now you’re just fighting to get them home from college or fight… You know what I mean, just getting together. So, I do the best I can to make it as warm as I can.”

He also shared that the responsibility of making the holidays enjoyable fell wholly on him. “And I’m a bachelor, so I kind of miss those, like, really cute things to do, you know, so I have to work especially hard to make sure there’s that stuff that they think about and remember,” he said
