With the 2025 NFL Draft only A few weeks away and the pre-draft hype machine operating at maximum capacity, perhaps that’s why the 2014 film Draft Day has suddenly become one of the top-streaming movies on Netflix. Kevin Costner starred as the general manager of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns franchise who was struggling with internal and external pressure as he tried to determine the team’s draft picks. The film was made with the league’s full cooperation, including a role for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, playing himself, so the film conveys a behind-the-scenes authenticity that fans have grown to appreciate.
