With the NCIS: Origins Season 1 finale almost here, fans will finally find out how and why Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell/Mark Harmon) becomes who he is in the future, which, of course, involves Agent Lala Dominguez (Mariel Molino). Titled “Cecilia,” after Molino’s character, the episode is expected to air on CBS on Monday, April 28, and will see Gibbs face a reckoning when the murder of Pedro Hernandez (the drug dealer he secretly assassinated for murdering his family) is unearthed. At the same time, when the agent needs his team most, the loyalty of one is brought into question.

While fans will have to wait until next Monday to find out whose loyalty will be questioned, Molino’s recent chat with TV Insider hints at a new side of her character in the NCIS: Origins finale. Plus, since the episode is basically Lala-themed, much like most of the season, many are dying to know if there will finally be an explicit answer as to why the procedural is “the story of her,” as Gibbs said in the premiere episode.
