Inside Mark Harmon’s first project away from NCIS universe as he reprises unforgettable role

Mark Harmon has been busy working on another project that’s entirely unrelated to the world of NCIS.

CBS fans were heartbroken to see Agent Gibbs (played by Harmon) make his exit from NCIS as the staple figure in the iconic police procedural back in 2021.Nevertheless, it was a bittersweet end as Gibbs was able to leave his troubled past behind and focus on a more peaceful life in Alaska where he could start afresh.

Actor Harmon has still remained in the NCIS universe though while working on the Gibbs prequel NCIS Origins, narrating the new drama as well as appearing in the first episode.

Alongside his work on this latest NCIS spin-off, the 73-year-old has been working on something entirely different, reprising his role in another franchise.
