Kevin Costner announces TV return after Yellowstone finale – but it’s not what you might expect
Yellowstone star Kevin Costner is back on the saddle and returning to screens for an eight-part Western series.
Only this time, telling “the real story” of the American West dream.
Today it was announced the Academy Award® winner and actor will host and serve as executive producer for a brand new documentary series The West, but not in the way you think.
Kevin Costner’s The West premieres May 28, only on Stan.
While hosting the series, Costner will take fans on a unique journey through the Wild West spanning a century of lawmen, outlaws, cowboys, ranchers and everything in between.

The announcement comes a year after Costner starred and directed in his own Western feature film, Horizon: An American Saga, and just months after his hit series Yellowstone came to an end.
Safe to say, if you’re a fan of Costner’s work, you’ll sure get a kick out of The West.
Each one-hour episode will capture multiple perspectives on the stories that defined an era – and era that Costner has so famously captivated.
