Kevin Costner’s Sports Movie From 11 Years Ago Is Now On Netflix, Just Months After Plans For A TV Show Adaptation Were Announce

Kevin Costner’s 2014 movie, Draft Day, is now streaming on Netflix, and it is the perfect time to check it out now that a TV series adaptation has been announced. Born in California in 1955, Kevin Costner is one of the best-known actors working today. Costner has been in many great films, including Dances with Wolves, for which he earned two Academy Awards, and JFK. Along with great film roles, Costner has more recently gained acclaim for his portrayal of John Dutton in Yellowstone, bringing him back into the spotlight.

Between some of his best-known roles, Costner starred as the main character, Sonny Weaver Jr., in Draft Day. The sports drama never gained too much attention, seeing very modest box office results and moderate reviews. Kevin Costner has starred in several sports movies throughout his career, so Draft Day often gets overshadowed, but it does provide a very interesting look into one particular aspect of professional football that is not covered often.
