Mark Harmon addresses hotly-anticipated cameo on NCIS prequel spin-off

Fans were devastated when Mark Harmon left NCIS, but the star made a return to the screen for a new origin story series, which is sure to melt fans hearts

The spin-off prequel series follows Harmon’s character Leroy Jethro Gibbs before he became the head of high-energy team that fans know and love. Austin Stowell plays the younger version of the character. However, fans will always miss Mark who brought the initial life to the role in 2003.

he made a little cameo on the CBSshow. After all, Mark  serves as an executive producer and narrator on the series, keeping him involved by ensuring justice is done by the passionate fans. Mark told Entertainment Tonight that shooting the scene in NCIS: Origins felt “different” as he was stepping into a new era since the show takes place in the early 1990s.
