Mark Harmon allegedly plans to make additional cameos on NCIS: Origins

Mark Harmon was involved with NCIS: Origins from day one. The actor serves as a producer on the prequel series, as well as the narrator of each episode. He’s been replaced as Leroy Jethro Gibbs by Austin Stowell, but his spirit is still very much felt in the character.Harmon made a surprise cameo as Gibbs in a recent episode, despite previously stating that he had gotten his fill of playing the character onscreen. He had so much fun in his cameo that he allegedly plans to make additional appearances on NCIS: Origins moving forward (in addition to narrating).
