NCIS’ Extreme Love for Mark Harmon Became Apparent in 2 Episodes That Paid Tribute to His Career

Industry veteran Mark Harmon was a part of the popular CBS show NCIS for years. As such, his involvement in the series’ construction stands out from the rest. However, it wasn’t just Harmon who was dedicated to his role, it turns out the NCIS crew, too, was mighty appreciative of him.

In fact, the love for him in the series became blatantly evident when his own character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, made references to his glorious career on two separate occasions.

Although he left the show in 2021, his attachment to it never lessened. His recent return for NCIS: Origins, a prequel based on his character, is a testament to that fact.
