NCIS fans are floored over beloved ex show star Mark Harmon’s career update

Mark, 74, broke many hearts when he and his character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, exited the CBS series, leaving many fans wishing he would return to the franchise. While the veteran actor hasn’t left the NCIS world completely, as he serves as the executive producer and narrator on the prequel spinoff show NCIS Origins, it’s nothing like him being in character as Leroy Jethro Gibbs on the small screen.

Deadline reported in late October that Mark will be coming to the program next week. He is slated to make a special guest appearance during an upcoming NCIS and NCIS: Origins crossover event scheduled to air on CBS on November 11.
