Patrick J. Adams’ Next Big TV Show Makes Up For Suits’ Biggest Wasted Mike Ross Arc

Mike Ross’ biggest wasted arc in Suits is revisited in Patrick J. Adams’ next big TV comeback in Yellowstone’s The Madison. Four years after it ended its original run on USA Network, Suits dominated streaming in an unexpected development. Following New York hotshot lawyer, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) as he hires the genius but fake lawyer Mike, the show is intense, funny, and wildly entertaining. Despite their relationship being the backbone of the series, it had to break the pair’s partnership when Adams was written out of Suits in light of Meghan Markle’s departure from the series.

There were still so many more stories left to tell about Mike had he stayed. However, before he exited, there were already storylines involving him that could have lasted a bit longer. That includes his stint as an investment banker in Suits season 3. While still trying to keep his and Harvey’s illegal scheme a secret, Mike leaves Pearson, Specter, and becomes an investment banker at Sidwell Investment Group. The next year, however, he returns to his old law firm. Mike’s reunion with Harvey is great, but it would have been fun to see more of him as a banker.
