Was it exciting that 1923 gave Harrison Ford’s Jacob Dutton something Kevin Costner’s John Dutton never got in 5 seasons of Yellowstone?
Watching both Yellowstone and 1923, it was interesting to note how Harrison Ford’s Jacob Dutton managed to get the lovely family dinner in the spinoff series that Kevin Costner’s John Dutton always wanted to but never got to properly experience. I think that Jacob has a better way of opening up to others, even though he puts on a tough man facade, than John. I feel like the 1923 crew feels more like a loving family than the Yellowstone characters.
